Rêves de Singapour, meaning Dreams of Singapore, was once a beloved fragrance that captured the aspirations of a nation on the rise. First launched in the 1960s by Perfumes of Singapore, this classic scent embodied the optimism of a generation that worked tirelessly to build the Singapore we know today. Now, we are proud to revive this legendary fragrance—a brilliant and timeless blend, reintroduced as an elegant men’s perfume.
The 1960s were transformative years for Singapore that paved the way for prosperity in the 1970s. By 1974, the thriving economy led to disco fever, posh gatherings, and even some wild parties. Entertainment flourished, films captivated audiences, and parties began! This era of cultural and economic change shaped Singapore’s identity, and Rêves de Singapour was the scent of that time.
Intriguingly, historical records suggest that Rêves de Singapour may have been developed for Singapore Airlines, possibly by Lancôme, as we came across antique bottles bearing both logos. Eventually, we found that Mr. Dadi, founder of “Perfumes of Singapore” took over the production of Rêves de Singapour, cementing its place in Singapore’s fragrance history.
